“ The first thing we noticed was the beautiful view of Deep Creek Lake. The host was very attentive and greeted us immediately and sat us at a window table to overlook the lake. The server was also outstanding, checking on us and getting refills as needed. The food was absolutely incredible! We stuck with a lighter meal- I had the French onion soup and the berry and goat salad. The French onion soup was very flavorful but had too much cheese in my opinion. A solid 7/10 The berry goat cheese salad with grapes, blueberries, strawberries and walnuts really takes you on a wholesome flavorful journey. 10/10 We also tried the grilled cheese and tomato soup! The grilled cheese has a blend of cheeses and they also fry cheese on the outside of the bread. Great idea! 9/10 The tomato soup was delicious and paired perfectly dunking the grilled cheese in it. 8/10 ”

“ It has been a longtime since I ate a deep dish pizza. Delicious. The sausage is outstanding. I know. Some NY pizza snobs diss deep dish pizza. But I love it. I love NY pizza too. Very busy on a Saturday night but we had no wait for two. A party of 10 in front of us were told 40 minutes. Our waitress, Grace, was friendly, efficient and wonderful. Lots of non pizza options that most people were ordering. ”

“ We ordered take out pizza for our group of friends . The order wasn’t quite right, and the manager offered to remake the pizzas, but I told her that we didn’t need them to be remade. She then said that she would give us a discount on my charge card. I really wasn’t expecting much, but it was a generous discount. All the staff was very nice. Thank you to the manager for the discount and for offering a remake of the pizzas !!! The pizza was delicious! See you next year!! ”

“ I took my family of four to Uno Pizzeria & Grill on a busy Saturday afternoon around 3pm on January 28th, 2023. The restaurant is located right on Deep Creek lake on the main street (219) about a three miles south of Wisp resort. There restaurant is large and has round table and booth seating with a nice bar near the front side. There is also an outdoor seating area and a lot of space to walk around in warmer seasons. We were greeted by a hostess and seated almost immediately. Once seated we were sitting about 15 minutes before we had to pull a waitress over and ask where our server was. About a minute later the manager came over and apologized for the wait and took our order on the spot. A waitress stopped at the table after and asked if we needed anything. Our food came out about 15 minutes later. I had the Chicken Cheesesteak and my family ordered the Honey Chicken Salad, and single pizza and a kid sized pizza. All of the food was prepared well and tasted great. The check came and we saw that they took 50% of the total of the bill. We were pleasantly surprised that they acknowledged our bad experience and turned it into a good one. I didn't get the name of the manager that was working at the time but I would like to personally thank her for going out of her way to make our dining experience better. I would highly recommend this location as they provide excellent customer service and the food is very good. ”

“ We were initially hesitant to choose Uno Pizzeria on account of recent reviews establishing that the wait staff possibly lacked souls. Our large party was quickly seated. As he began taking our drink order, our 20 year old waiter, Tim, informed us that while Uno doesn’t have rotating beers, they do have an ever-changing variety of beers on tap. We asked him more than once ‘Who’s Your Daddy?’ and Tim took each of our beer orders in stride without breaking character or being conned into answering the question. When we asked for recommendations on our food order, Tim admitted to being a meat freak, and recommended a thin-crust, smooth-sauced, meat-laden ‘Butcher Block’ pizza. After engaging in good-natured tomfoolery and verbal hijinx with our party, we confirmed that Tim indeed has a soul. We recommend Uno Pizza to anyone wishing for a spirited meal. If you want a fun server who will make your meal entertaining, ask to be served by Tim. ”

“ Excellent food with a breathing view! We went to deep creek lake for a day trip and were looking for a restaurant for lunch. In December on a weekday you don't expect to see a restaurant full of people. When we sat down we realized why it was full. The view is amazing and the food is excellent. The server we had was the best. Very knowledgeable and respectful. He gave us plenty of information about what we can order. We ordered soup, pizza and steak bites. Everything was amazing. A service. ”

“ We will be back to Uno Pizzeria and Grill! The restaurant is huge, parking doesn't appear to be an issue in colder months, and our server, Zebulun, was excellent. He was polite, very attentive and brought out amazing dishes. The cheese pizza, broccoli cheddar soup, Ceasar salad and New Orleans pasta were all delicious! The soup was my favorite. It was perfect for a chilly evening and a generous portion for the price. The pizza was a bit pricey for a medium however it's a vacation town so 22 was alright for the delicious quality. The New Orleans pasta had a ton of items - chicken, shrimp, sausage, peppers and a chili sauce, and my boyfriend was very happy with it.
